Woodspring Suites Port Orange - Daytona Beach

We stayed 1/16-1/18, and the price felt far too high for what we got. There was no soundproofing, so we heard our neighbors all night. Some of the noises were scary enough that we nearly called the police. There’s no maid service. At check-in, we were told clean towels would cost $10 if we brought ours to the desk to exchange. The room had shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but the kitchenette was completely empty. We couldn’t use the range without going out to buy appliances. Morning staff were wonderful, but the night staff were terrible. They had coffee in the morning and nothing else. I won’t stay there again.

The location was the one thing I liked. I’d give that up for a better stay. If you want somewhere quiet, don’t choose this place. There was constant racket, like furniture being dragged around or elephants in a circus, plus loud beeps at 1145 and people talking or arguing. The bed was really hard, with bedding that felt like it belonged on a crib mattress. WiFi cost extra.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained, so I was comfortable there. The staff made the stay for me. From check-in through check-out, everyone was professional, friendly, and ready to help with whatever I needed. The front desk welcomed me right away and kept up the good customer service throughout my time at WoodSpring Suites in Port Orange.

The floors didn’t seem thoroughly cleaned. I found a pair of socks under the air conditioner. The walls were thin enough that we could hear people and TVs in the adjoining rooms, and the bed was barely adequate. Its bedding was thin and looked outdated. There was no carpet, which was one plus. But the room was very bare bones for a fairly high price: just one bedside table, no hand towels or Kleenex, and only one set of towels and a washrag for two days. There also wasn’t enough toilet paper for two days. We can’t recommend this hotel.
