We spent three nights here and had a very pleasant stay. Lorraine was an attentive, knowledgeable hostess, and our room was well furnished. The common area was a comfortable place to relax, especially by the warm fireplace. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty, and there was plenty of good coffee. It’s in a great spot in Port Orchards vintage neighborhood, overlooking the water and close to the ferry.
The harbor view was lovely, and we’re definitely planning to come back. Lorraine was kind and accommodating, and made a wonderful gluten-free breakfast for my wife. It was perfect, and I enjoyed it too. That’s proof enough that we’ll be visiting again!
I miss Mrs. Howe’s B&B. Lorraine puts so much care into helping you feel safe and enjoy your stay. Coming in from the outside world of Covid and chaos, you feel wrapped up in the charm and safety she creates in her lovely old home. This was my second visit, but it still felt like finding a whole new, amazing place. I hope she takes care, and I’m grateful for such a wonderful stay. ❤️
I’ve been coming here for years when I visit family in the area, and it’s a special place to me. The waterfront view is lovely, and it’s quiet and peaceful. The facility is clean, and breakfast is homemade and delicious. Lorraine is a kind, considerate, seasoned hostess who gives you room without hovering. I can’t think of anywhere else that comes close to the charm and grace here. I look forward to every return visit.
This cozy, century-old home has a view of the ocean, and Lorraine is a warm, friendly, hospitable host. I have no complaints at all and will absolutely stay again when we’re back in town. 👍☮️
