The location is the one real plus here, and the reason I gave it three stars. The house needs major updates: the indoor and outdoor furniture, bedding, and cooking utensils are all due for replacement. Some furniture is torn and looks dirty, and the carpeted bedrooms have a musty smell. There’s only one small TV, in the main room, with basic channels. Hurricane Zeta was making landfall in the Gulf while we were there, but with no cable and very spotty local reception, we had no reliable way to follow the storm on TV. The location is still the only bright spot of this rental.

Pristine Properties was great, and the location is too. I’d recommend renting through them. The house could use better furniture and bedding, which is why I rated it lower.

The beach is right nearby, and it’s hardly crowded at all. It’s close to nature too, without all the ads and shops you get in Ocean City. It’s basically just beach houses and beach.
