The Adams Pragge House

We went last winter and had a wonderful time in Port Townsend. Zhenya and Joseph made the B&B feel cozy and welcoming, like a home away from home. Our room was private and comfortable, and the food they prepared was delicious. When we make it back to WA, we’ll be staying at the Adams Pragge House again. Thanks for having us!

The Cascadia room gave us plenty of space to unpack and relax, and the lovely linens, duvet, towels, and robes all felt high quality. We also enjoyed fresh breakfast every day and playing the piano in the living room. The house is a quick walk from downtown Port Townsend, with a small grocery store down the street. Though it isn't right downtown, there was very little street noise, and we never needed the noise machine provided in our room. Zhenya and Joseph are kind hosts with an impressive knowledge of the home's history and Port Townsend. Antique furnishings give the place character while it still has modern comforts. We were completely taken with the home during our long weekend and will be back.

The hosts were delightful and easily handled our food preferences. We had a wonderful three-course gourmet breakfast, just enough to leave us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The meals were absolutely lovely. Downtown and the waterfront are an easy walk away, as long as hills and stairs are manageable for you.

We spent two lovely nights at Adams Pragge House while visiting Port Townsend. Joseph and Zhenya have put so much care into the place, and the decor has a quality and good taste that made it a pleasure to be there. It felt like having a real home base in town. We can’t wait to return.
