We found a bug in the bed on January 10, 2026, and a staff member later confirmed it was a bed bug. We told the front desk right away, packed up, and left. It was the weekend, so the manager wasn’t available, but we were told they’d call as soon as possible. Yaneth at the front desk was very nice and did as much as she could. By January 29th, we still hadn’t heard from the manager or Holiday Inn Express corporation. It’s frustrating and disappointing to be left without a response. We’ve had to do extensive cleaning of our clothes and luggage, and my wife and I both have bites on our bodies. Please stay away unless you want to go through that too.

We finally gave up at 7:30 PM. After arriving at 4:45 for the 4:00 check-in, we were told housekeeping was short and no rooms were clean. The estimate was vague, and several guests were left waiting in the lobby with little communication. We came back after being told 6:30, but there were still more people waiting and nobody available to help. We canceled and found another place to stay. Staffing problems can happen, but the communication and professionalism were missing.

Breakfast stayed well stocked even near the end of service, and it was good. The rooms were clean and nice, though there were marks on the door that looked like someone had tried to pry it open, so I used both the deadbolt and security latch. The location's a bit out of the way, but handy for shopping if that's what you're after.

I appreciated having Target, shops, and restaurants close by, and the staff were kind. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and I know what a clean room looks like since I used to work as a housekeeper. I'm looking forward to coming back.

I asked for a free cancellation through the Booking.com app and have heard nothing after two days. When I called the property, there was no manager around, and nobody knew when one would be back. So nobody could approve it. Very “nice” service…
