The food was delicious, especially the eggs Benedict, which were off the chart. Definitely eat there if you stay, and make a stop at the bar too. The drinks were great, and the bartender mixed me a cocktail that wasn't even on the menu. Best one I've ever had, and he deserves a raise 😉. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. Had a great time, and if I come to Portland again, I'll stay there again 💋🍸.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and there are lots of great spots within walking distance downtown. The water pressure was weak, though that's to be expected in an old building. The lounge was the weirdest part: so dark and oddly shaped it felt like a cross between Harry potters closet and a cave, like something was being hidden from you rather than creating ambiance. We tried going once, an hour before closing, but they turned us away because they'd already done last call. That seemed odd.

The beds were comfortable and the room was fairly clean, but getting in touch with anyone before check-in was a struggle. I called for about 3-4 hours and got no answer, then used Expedia live chat. I got one reply an hour after my question and nothing after I responded. There were no fridges in the rooms, and parking cost $40/day despite being listed as an amenity. Cracks covered the ceilings. One pipe leak and it could be over for the whole building.

For our first stay at hotel deluxe, we had a great date night away from home. The lounge drinks and appetizer tasted great, and the service was wonderful, with quick responses to our questions. Our room was clean and had towels, robes, and everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was comfortable too. We'll definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the roasted Brussel sprouts with STUFF, almost as good as mine. Cozy entrance and lounge, and a small but comfortable King size bed.
