We had a good time here, though I’m unsure what star category the place is meant to be in, and that feels a little misleading. There are lots of room types, but the staffing hours are limited, which could be awkward for a late arrival. It wasn’t a problem for us. Some appliances and light bulbs seem old. The dimmer lighting does fit the atmosphere, but brighter bulbs might still be better. At night, you can clearly hear traffic on the highway through the windows, which don’t seem to be sound-reducing. I’d rate the place 4 out of 5. We had a great experience overall.

For four unforgettable days, this beautiful mountain and woodland property brought my closest friends and family together. The Chalet View Lodge was a wonderful wedding venue, and the staff took care of every detail and made sure our wishes were met. Planning was easy, even though people had warned us it would be stressful. The place had everything we needed, and guests kept telling us it was the most beautiful, enjoyable wedding they’d ever attended. It’s so much more than a venue.

Our guests had nothing but praise for the rooms, staff, and venue after our weekend wedding at Chalet View with 145 people. The on-site team handled the wedding, the dinner beforehand, and breakfast afterward, and they were easy to work with. Everything was covered, so we could relax and enjoy the weekend. Savannah, thanks for making it so memorable. You rock!

We weren’t there for a wedding, though it seemed like nearly everyone else at the hotel was. It’s a lovely spot with plenty to do: a pool, hot tubs, lawn games, volleyball, and a cute pond. The food was the letdown. We tried a frozen breakfast burrito and sandwich from the Starbucks, plus frozen pizza from the brewery, and neither meal was very good. The pizza oven by the pool wasn’t open either. If you’re attending a wedding with catered food, the place would be perfect.

Our kids said Chalet View was even better than a Disney cruise, and we all loved staying there. It had the charm and fun activities of a luxury Dirty Dancing, with something for everyone. We’re going to make this an annual trip.
