The rooms were clean and had enough of what we needed, though the bathroom was tiny. The location was good, and we’d stay again. Front desk staff greeted us with a smile whenever we came or went, and they and the other staff were polite and courteous. No complaints.

The room was very clean, and I got a warm welcome when I arrived. After checkout, the staff contacted me because I’d left something behind. They offered to ship it and got it to UPS in time for me to have my belongings the next day.

We were meant to stay two weekend nights, but the whole hotel smelled overwhelmingly of diesel fuel. Apparently roof repairs were underway. We checked in at 1 AM and left later that morning, though we’d been scheduled to stay both nights. It would’ve been nice to know about the smell before we arrived.

The staff are amazing and the interior is clean. I have a nurse’s nose and can smell everything, so sometimes odors just can’t be covered up. My car felt safe in the well-lit parking lot. Some of the surrounding neighborhood seemed a bit iffy, but I felt safe there.

Whenever I make a last-minute trip home to see my mom and family, I’m greeted with kindness and a smile that warms my heart. They always make me feel like there’s no place like home. If you haven’t met Hazel, please do. She’s a special person. #Ohiobornandraised❤️Home
