Fairfield Inn & Suites Pottstown Limerick

The staff were so friendly and helpful that I'd give them a 12 if I could. We called the front desk several times, and someone came to our room quickly to help. The room was clean, new, well maintained, spacious, and comfortable for three people, though it was chilly. We couldn't get warm even with the heat turned all the way up and extra blankets, but it was below zero that weekend. Breakfast was disappointing, with very few choices and doughy bagels, though the coffee was good. There was also very little toilet paper, and it wasn't folded. I've been a longtime Marriott customer and fan, and I'll stick with them because they do the right thing for a fair price.

The staff were absolutely great, and the room and facilities were very clean. The reason I'm giving four stars is the snow. It snowed the night we arrived, and by checkout the parking lot was awful and hard to walk through. Whoever handles snow removal should hire a better company. Nearby businesses had cleared their lots perfectly.

The place was clean, but expensive. At $200 a night, I expected everything in the room to work, and that wasn't my experience. The refrigerator couldn't be adjusted and froze my drinks, and the reading light above the bed was broken.

The first night in our room was fine, but on the second a bed bug was crawling on my pillow. I caught it in a cup and showed it to the manager, Brian. He didn't seem to care and said we'd brought it with us. They didn't offer compensation for our stay. In fact, they lied to the price line people and wouldn't even talk to them. Stay away if bugs and rude service are a problem for you. Brian, do better. Corporate should take care of this.
