Homewood Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie

The pool gave the kids a calm, fun way to unwind, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. We were here during a winter storm with children who have special needs, and the hotel was comfortable and accommodating for our family. Everything felt organized and quiet, which made a stressful situation much easier. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and laid out well, with separate living and sleeping areas. The full kitchen and refrigerator made meals simple. We’d absolutely return to Homewood Suites and recommend it to families, especially those whose children need extra space and a supportive, comfortable setting.

A ceiling leak in our room caused a small problem, but the staff handled it accommodatingly and gave us a complimentary night without any hassle. We stayed an extra night and had a wonderful Christmas. The beds were really comfortable, the room felt cozy, and we enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The staff were very nice. Thank you, Homewood Suites of Poughkeepsie.

We found the hotel handy for visiting the CIA, FDR, and Vanderbilt museums. The room was large, clean, and spacious, and everyone on staff was helpful and friendly. There’s also a pleasant outdoor area with seating, grills, and a firepit, though it wasn’t the right season for us to use it. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here five times and haven’t had any complaints. The staff are always super friendly, and the rooms consistently clean. Local restaurants are just a short walk away. On one of my frequent visits, I even got a complimentary upgrade to a full suite. Highly recommend!
