The room was comfortable, and the area felt safe. Breakfast was good for a hotel. We stopped for one night on our drive from California to Tennessee with a U-Haul trailer and two cats, arriving late. The front desk person wasn't especially friendly. Parking space for the trailer was limited, but the hotel was quiet enough that we could use several spots without a problem.
Our room was quiet and clean, and check-in was quick and friendly. The staff were great. Just watch the pet charge: the website listed $75, but we were billed $150 for one pet. Hilton told us booking online can bring higher fees, even though we booked through hilton.com.
There were restaurants and sandwich places within walking distance, plus a big open field where we could walk our pet. It was a lovely stay, but I thought the $75 pet fee was too high. As a Honors member, it was the highest I came across on my trip. I wonder if they’re trying to discourage people from bringing pets.
Nice spot off the interstate, but it’s a shame they’re renovating. Seems like most of the Hampton Inns I’ve stayed at over the past 12 months have been under renovation. What the heck? No pool, fitness center, or data center. Bummer!
The location worked out great, with everything just across the next parking lot. After a long drive, the woman at the front desk was cheerful, welcoming, and really patient with me. My room was cleaner than I expected, though the walls needed paint and the TV was dated. I had a great stay, and the pool stayed open late. Thanks so much!
