I paid $200+ and would’ve gladly added another $10 to stay somewhere clean and comfortable. This place was horrible. The location was okay, but I didn’t feel safe or at ease, and the building had a strange smell. My first room’s heater was good, but the room wasn’t clean. I asked for another and it was a little better for working lights and plugs, but still bad, and the heater was awful. The halls were filthy, with trash and dirty laundry, and looked unvacuumed for weeks. There were ants, the tub stopper was missing, and I wouldn’t have used the tub anyway. I didn’t even check breakfast. I only gave two stars for service because they offered another room. I would’ve taken a refund without hesitation. In response to the hotel, an apology isn’t enough. Red roof needs to fix this property, especially at these prices. I’m sure the complaints and bad reviews will continue if every company reply is the same and you keep asking people to try again. I won’t. I’m requesting a 50% refund.

The room was okay and the price was affordable, but management was another story. I had a service dog, and they said dogs weren’t allowed and tried to charge me a pet fee, which is illegal. I understand the no-smoking rule, but there are burn holes all over the rooms. Their attitude also gave me a bit of a racist vibe toward white people. Take it how you want.

The location was great, the staff were friendly, and the room had cute decor, a kitchenette, and free breakfast. At this price I appreciate that they tried, even though breakfast was basic and the milk was spoiled, so I couldn’t eat cereal. The bedding was clean on the surface, and my mattress had a good bed bug cover. I wasn’t bitten during my two-day stay. The room looked okay at first, but there were a few cockroaches and dirt in the crevices. The shower curtain needed washing, and the switches and plugs, fridge, microwave, and mirrors needed cleaning. The tub and bathroom itself were clean. There was no in-room coffee or pool despite the advertisement, and I’m glad I don’t see very well or I might not have stayed.

The breakfast didn’t exist, and the rooms are no different from the attached motel apart from having interior access. Save your money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
