La Quinta Inn Suites Conference Center Prescott

The sports bar was a highlight, with tasty food, good drinks, fair prices, and a fantastic bartender. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the walk-in shower was beautiful. Breakfast was great, the rates were reasonable, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the stay was even better than expected. I’d definitely recommend it.

Inder, one of the managers, was so friendly and helpful. I left a sweater behind, and when I called, she checked for it, found it, and made sure I got it back. I don’t think she knows how much that meant to me, since the sweater is sentimental. My wife and I stayed two nights just before New Year’s, and found the hotel clean, quiet, comfortable, and accommodating. It’s centrally located for Flagstaff, Sedona, and Prescott. We’ll stay again, though next time I’ll leave that sweater at home. Highly recommend this hotel.

The bathroom was bright, and the walk-in shower was very nice. Our room was a good size, the bed wasn’t saggy, and the fireplace added a bit of ambience. But the lighting was a major problem. The hotel uses “white” bulbs instead of warm ones, which made the place feel cold and uninviting. Even with every light in the room on, it still felt too dark. It was just okay, and I’m not sure we’d return.

The smell of Marijuana in my room was so strong it made me sick, so I checked out quickly. When I reported it to the front desk, they brushed it off as if it happened often. That was awful and disappointing, especially since no one seemed to take it seriously. Maybe they could have sent a maid to verify it and offered a discount. Aside from that, I enjoyed the LaQuinta in Prescott. Breakfast was good, though it needed potatoes, and the room lighting could be brighter. The hot tub was foaming, which didn’t seem like a good sign of cleanliness, so I stayed out of it.
