Hotel by Best Western Presque Isle

The room was clean and the heat worked, but the price felt far too high for the quality. There was a full-size fridge and a two-burner flat-top stove, but the kitchen supplies were sparse: two plates, two bowls, one coffee cup, no metal cutlery, no cooking tools, and no frying pans, saucepans, or other pans. The living room TV didn’t work. Snow clearing was poor around the parking area, sidewalks, and main entrance. I had to ask twice for ice melt by the door at the alternate exit near my room, and nearly slipped twice while loading and unloading the car.

Our king suite was just right, and we liked the firm bed. The lobby has a nice little breakfast area and fireplace, and it looks like the space was recently redone. Everything was very clean, and we had a great experience.

The staff were incredibly accommodating throughout the weekend and helped make this one of the best trips I’ve had with a soccer team. Thanks, gentlemen, for all your support. I’d strongly recommend staying at the Surestay.

It’s quiet, the rooms are nice, and getting around is easy. You can reach everywhere quickly without having to deal with downtown traffic. If you’re staying in Presque Isle, this is a great spot.
