The room had a damp, stale smell when we arrived, though running the AC overnight helped and it was less noticeable the next day. We still noticed mold around the shower, tub, and showerhead, so I scrubbed it myself with body wash and a glove. The floor was dirty enough to leave brown marks on my socks, the bed was too firm for us, and there was a tear or hole in the ceiling by the window, maybe from moisture. On the plus side, hot water kept coming, and the microwave and mini fridge were clean. We stayed two nights because we were working a weekend event in Nashville and didn't want the long drive home or Nashville hotel prices. This place might do for one night, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. Breakfast was pretty limited: a couple of sausage patties, round egg things, biscuits, flaky cereal with no milk, coffee without creamer, and no fruit or juice. The waffle maker did make decent waffles, but I was hungry again an hour later. I had to hunt through the cabinets below for more utensils, too. Food from the gas station across the street might be the better breakfast. The pool was closed. I hope the owners make some improvements, because a place called Quality Inn ought to live up to the name.

Nancy made what could have been a stressful mix-up feel easy. I left my watch behind, and the staff found it and kept it safe in the office until I could come back. Nancy was welcoming, polite, warm, and funny, and she handled everything with real professionalism and kindness. The hotel was comfortable and accommodating, and the team seemed to care about guests. Nancy and the staff gave the place a strong sense of Southern hospitality. If management reads this, Nancy deserves recognition for representing the hotel so well. Thanks again for going above and beyond.

I asked for a refund because I felt bites as soon as I entered the room, and the showerhead looked dirty. They said the showerhead was fine and kept offering to move me to another room with the same problems. When I continued asking questions, the receptionist, who I believe was the owner, became belligerent and yelled at me. He wouldn't listen and only wanted me to accept his terms. Then he brought out his whole family to question me. The customer service was horrible. Avoid if possible.

I came from Ohio for a family emergency and had one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The room looked and felt filthy: smudged mirrors, stains in the tub, on the walls and lampshades, and mold in the cracks around both the sink and tub. It smelled moldy throughout. I even went to Walmart for 70% alcohol and cleaning supplies just to manage the one night. The room keys were sticky and smudged when I got them, which was a pretty bad start. They couldn't find my paid reservation when I arrived, so I waited 30-45 minutes while it was sorted with my travel card. That delay wasn't the hotel's fault, but it was still inconvenient. The pool was overgrown with weeds and grass and looked like it hadn't been open in 100 years. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a hotel. I also went across the street to the Mexican spot for a drink, saw something floating in my glass, and left right away. At least I wasn't eaten by bugs. Still, when I get home I'll leave my things outside just to be safe. I've used similar hotels for quick trips, but I wouldn't recommend this one, even in an emergency.

NANCY and NICOLE were super friendly and funny when I checked in, and the price was really affordable. Breakfast was good, too. The motel's in a perfect spot right next to the Free Truck Stop. If you need somewhere to stay around here, check it out. Thanks, Nicole and Nancy.
