The front desk staff were polite, but they didn't seem surprised about the bugs and didn't offer us another room. Choice Hotels told me that once you check in, they can't do anything to help. This was room 225. I can't speak for the other rooms, but refuse this one if it's offered. Once you've taken the key, you're stuck. We paid over a hundred dollars per night and got neither a clean room nor a hot shower. There was a dead bedbug in the drawer, and my daughter woke up with several bites. The water pressure was great, but the water was barely lukewarm. I booked by accident, thinking this was the hotel we usually use when visiting the area. It turned out to be next door. I'll make sure not to repeat that mistake. It was a holiday weekend, and by the time I realized what I'd done, everywhere else was booked. Otherwise, I never would've let my kids sleep here.

We reserved a non-smoking room and were given a smoking one. I could smell smoke through my CPAP for a week. The sheets and couch had burn holes, the couch had a huge tear, and paint was peeling off the walls. The quality at this Quality Inn was disappointing. We arrived after a show in Pikeville and couldn't be moved. From the pictures, the other rooms looked similar. Management, don't make excuses. Clean the place up. We're not staying again unless it gets renovated.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, too. I'd definitely stay here again.

We found roaches in our room and they wouldn't refund us, even though we wanted our money back so we could stay somewhere else. Instead, they moved us right next door, where there was nasty hair on the bed, as if roaches couldn't crawl between rooms. It's absolutely disgusting. The customer service was dismissive and rude. Whenever I came down, staff were sitting in the back vaping and on their phones. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here unless they're used to filth, roaches, strangers' hair, and shitty service. Ugh.

The room was clean and quiet, and the mattress was firm and comfortable, so I'm happy with it. The pillows aren't firm at all, but I brought my own out of habit, so it wasn't a big deal. Having a gym room was a nice bonus.
