Renfro's Lakeside Retreat - Cabin's and R.V. Park

Gary was such a kind, helpful guy, and we really enjoyed using the kayaks. We'd been traveling from Canada to Alaska for a month, and this cottage was the most beautiful place we stayed. The beds and shower were good, and the cottage was clean. It's a place we'll remember for a long time.

We’re staying for two weeks and would definitely come back. The campground is really clean, and the owner is a pleasure to talk with. The bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities are all in great shape. There’s tons of excellent hiking nearby, and it’s a perfect spot to explore the peninsula from.

We were in our truckcamper for one night and paid $50 for a partial hookup, with no wifi and a shared dump. It was the most reasonable price in the area, and getting in was easy even with rigs of any size. The shower block is just one, but we didn’t have to wait. It was immaculate, with good pressure and hot water. A lovely guy welcomed us, and the service was great. The lakeside setting is outstanding, with mountains all around. Our buddy stayed in a lakeside cabin. It was spacious, with a kitchen, dinner table, outside deck, hammock, and fun dollars hidden around for kids. I didn’t go up to the bedroom area. Everything looked beautiful, and it’s about 20 minutes to Seward. Highly recommend.

The lake views are beautiful, and Seward is about 25 minutes away. We had our 44-foot fifth wheel here for four nights and had no trouble. The owner was extra helpful and friendly. It’s easy to miss the entrance from the highway since there’s no flashing neon sign or flags, but Google Maps gets you right there. We loved this RV park on Kenai and would stay again.
