I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but we had two reservations for Dec 21-Dec 22 2025 and the rooms weren’t up to our standards or sanitary. There was hair in both beds in one room, a roach leg in another bed, and the rooms smelled like smoke. I used to work as a housekeeper, so I know hospitality and tried to be understanding. The front desk representative offered to send someone to change the bedding. The housekeeper arrived with bedding in her arms, looking as if she’d come straight from home, unkempt, without a uniform or cart, and unable to speak English. I got a refund for one room but couldn’t get one for the second. A manager told me Capital One Travel uses a third party and that she sent the refund back to Hopper. Capital One Travel still hasn’t received it. I was supposed to get an email confirming the refund without the third party virtual card number, but it hasn’t arrived. Capital One Travel has been trying unsuccessfully to reach a manager. I hope this reaches someone who can resolve the issue. Thanks.

We loved having split bedrooms, and the rooms were so nice. The desk attendants were lovely and welcoming. Since we had our Frenchie with us, they put us in a room with direct access to the outdoors. Absolutely excellent stay, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

The location is amazing, just north of the Pigeon Forge traffic, with Walmart right across the street. It’s convenient. The hotel feels average, and the 2 star rating seems right. Staff were friendly, beds comfortable, hot water good, ice machine good, and the fridge worked. The rooms are dated and rather dark. I was on the first floor facing the parking lot, so I couldn’t open the windows.

Breakfast was delicious, with a good range of choices, and everyone working there was kind and helpful. Our room was clean, and the two beds were separated by the bathroom walls, which gave us privacy. The pool was open for swimming for the children, LOL, and looked inviting even with the cold weather. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn.

Grace, the desk manager from 3-11PM, was especially polite and helpful. It was a pleasure dealing with her during the three nights we stayed. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and helpful; breakfast had very good choices, the hotel was clean, and room service was good. We enjoyed our stay.
