The Jane Austin room was beautiful and comfortable, and I loved spending time in the library with its English-style decor. Heidi was a warm, welcoming host. She put out English biscuits and a little candy with my tea each evening, and served a traditional English breakfast every morning, taking care of my no-meat dietary restriction. I chose this over a regular hotel and was glad I did. I’ll be back in the area in a few weeks and plan to stay here again.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed a few nights at the Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn. Heidi was a gold-standard host, and the breakfasts and snacks were lovely. We also enjoyed her company. The library was cozy, with lots to read and a comfortable feel. We stayed in the Jane Austen room, and my wife loved the big clawfoot bathtub. If it’s available, I’d recommend upgrading from the other two rooms. The price is hard to beat, and I don’t think there’s better accommodation within a hundred miles. We highly recommend the place and hope to visit again.

Heidi was so welcoming that my husband and I felt at home. She made our weekend getaway the best one we’ve ever had. If you’re coming to the Princess Anne area, stay here. You won’t regret it.

The room was clean and really nice, and breakfast Heidi made each morning was delicious. She’s the sweetest, kindest owner. Such a cute place, and my stay felt like being at home. I’d absolutely recommend it, 10 out of 10.

My friend and I stayed at the Book Lovers Inn in Princess Anne while we explored the peninsula. Heidi, the owner and host, made the quiet, peaceful, homey stay work so well. She thoughtfully handled my vegetarian breakfast request with a beautiful fruit parfait. I especially enjoyed talking with her over breakfast, when she shared many of her experiences. She’s a delight and I can’t recommend her B&B highly enough.
