I spent about six months here while working nearby, looking for somewhere home-like without a long lease. It was a great fit, with clean laundry facilities, a dependable housekeeping schedule, and free breakfast that made my daily routine easier. The team was caring and the place was convenient and clean. Nery was kind about letting me get coffee a couple of times when I arrived late for breakfast. Navdie and Lori kept my room spotless at each visit and were always polite and respectful. If you can, leave them a tip, they deserve it. Anthony, the site engineer, handled small repairs quickly and was friendly and respectful. At the desk, Hamza, Wesley, and James were professional and welcoming. James helped me out many times, while Hamza and Wesley made extensions easy and quickly helped me switch rooms when minor issues came up. This location puts people ahead of strict policies, and that meant a lot to me. I'd highly recommend it for anyone wanting an easy, comfortable extended stay.

The hallway smelled strongly of wet dog the whole time, and the entire floor was unpleasant. We later noticed that a guest in room 204 seemed to have several dogs there, and management didn't appear to be handling it. Our room's ceiling was also leaking, which is unacceptable and points to poor maintenance. No guest should have to deal with water damage. When we reported it at the front desk, staff were dismissive and unhelpful, with no urgency or real attempt to fix things or make it right. The confirmation email also gave the wrong location, wasting our time as we tried to figure out where to go. Between the leak, bad directions, smell, and unprofessional staff, the stay was extremely disappointing. I'd strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I wouldn't stay here again. The beds were uncomfortable, the shower head could have been different, and the room was dirty, with trash under the bed and unclean floors. It also looked run down and in need of major repairs. The hallway smelled of weed even though my room was non-smoking. At check-in, the manager had an attitude and wasn't friendly. The check-in area looked unprofessional, with boards apparently nailed together to hold the tablet, and I wondered what kind of hotel this was. I'd suggest the owner or Extended Stay franchise consider separate sides for extended-stay customers and non-extended guests, perhaps a luxury side. I only ended up here because someone else booked it for me.

I was in NJ for work and stayed at Extended Stay America in Monmouth Junction, NJ. I saw cockroaches in two different rooms and reported them to the front desk four times. Staff moved me to another part of the property, but I found another roach in the new room the next day, so it didn't seem isolated. I had my cat with me, and the ongoing infestation and possible pesticide exposure raised serious health and sanitation concerns. I eventually had to miss work due to illness and move to another hotel because this property couldn't provide sanitary accommodations. Wesley and Theresa at the front desk were professional and courteous and did their best to help, even though the issue was beyond their control. I've requested a resolution through corporate guest relations and notified the NJ Department of Health. I wouldn't recommend this location for long-term or extended stays until the issues are addressed.

This is my first stay that feels like a home away from home, and the staff have made these five weeks an absolute joy. I'm here while recovering from medical procedures, and the room has everything I need to work, rest, and heal. Hamza deserves a personal mention for his consistently warm, kind spirit. Abraham, Wesley, Mery, and Marie greet me every day with smiles and a can-do attitude. I can't say enough about the amazing staff, and I highly recommend this location for an extended stay.
