Super Rest Inn

I got a room with two queen beds, and the shower was great, hot and with good pressure. The room was clean, and the people at the desk were friendly. They have coffee in the morning. It's not Starbucks, but it's better than what you get at most hotels. I like places like this and don't go to the big chains anymore.

We actually walked in on another guest in our room. The desk didn't apologize, but they did give our family of four a different room, though it had only one bed. I'd called three times to confirm the reservation, and each time the pleasant Indian gentleman repeated it back correctly. He even called me once to point out a billing error. Despite that, there were two major mistakes on this one visit, and they couldn't fix them or sort out their own problems. They blamed their “system,” but they also used a paper sheet alongside the computer, and neither caught the problem. This isn't somewhere I'd recommend staying.

We had a great time as a family, and the place was very kid friendly. I was traveling for work, and they were accommodating with all our needs. I changed my mind about extending, then ended up needing three more days, and they still worked with me. I also left clothes in the dryer, and they set them aside until I came back. Everyone was nice. The price might make you wonder, but it smelled nice and our sheets were clean. I'd go for a king bed, since it felt a little roomier than a queen, though that's true anywhere.

For about $65, I got the basics I care about: a clean bed, working shower, and decent towels. The bedding, bathroom, fridge, microwave, and towels were all clean, the AC worked well, and the TV was huge. Check-in was quick. The room had a slight musty smell, but opening the window for a while helped. The pool looked nice, though I didn't use it, and there are EV charging stations in the parking lot. The OYO brand seems to take on older hotels and fix them up. This one shows its age, but also the effort. My only real gripe is the pillows are kind of small. I'd book again.
