The people are what keep bringing us back. Steve, Brandon, Shane and Greg are so warm and helpful that we feel like family, not just guests. We’ve now stayed at the Benchmark Inn and 8 Dyer Street three times, and we’re planning a fourth visit soon. The rooms are comfortable and classy, there are lovely spots to sit and unwind, and the pool is a real bonus. The location in town is perfect too. We absolutely love these inns and highly recommend them.

We felt so welcome and comfortable here, thanks so much, Daniel. He was an over-the-top host, and chatting with this lovely gentleman was an added pleasure. The inn is cozy and clean, and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Breakfast was a special treat each morning, prepared by Daniel, and the rest of the place was top notch too. My husband and I would gladly recommend it to anyone touring the area. Special thanks to Daniel for his Swiss hospitality.

We’re here May 12-15 and loving it. Steve helped us book activities and cooked a wonderful breakfast, while the owners have been there for every need. The location is perfect, and there’s a sauna, hot tub, and pool. Benchmark Inn is terrific, and we’d highly recommend staying here.

The breakfasts are the best in town, with fresh baked breads, jams, pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, and more. Daniel and Dan are such good hosts, and the inn is clean, nicely decorated, and right in the center of things. This was our second or third stay at Benchmark Inn, and every visit has been fantastic. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks again!

Our room was cozy and quaint, and most things we wanted to do were just a 5-15 minute walk away. We stayed with Dan and Daniel for our anniversary, and Daniel made breakfast a real treat each morning, with homemade breads, fresh eggs, yogurt, cereal, and plenty of coffee throughout the day. We’d mentioned our anniversary in passing, then later found a lovely surprise waiting in the room: champagne to celebrate, courtesy of Dan and Daniel. Magnificent hosts.
