The location was super convenient, and finding parking on Pearl St was easy enough. We got vouchers for a nearby cafe, and there’s also a coffee machine downstairs. The room felt updated and like new, with very comfortable bedding, a new bathroom, a clothes steamer, hair dryer, fridge, and nice toiletries. They aren’t staffed all the time, but they responded when we used their number. Highly recommend this place.

There’s potential here, with a nice central location and rooms that are a good size, but several things really let the place down. The cleaning needs a lot of work. It’s clear the property was remodeled within the past few years, but the floorboards looked like they’d never been cleaned, the remote was so dirty I had to put it in a bag to avoid touching it, and there were dead, dried bugs on the desk. The advertised luxury bedding wasn’t there either. The pillows were lumpy, and the bedding was worse than at a 1 star hotel. When I tried the AC, it blew 80 degree air. Most outlets didn’t work, and the worker we saw once, for five minutes, said he knew about it. They charge a 10% destination fee, which I haven’t encountered at other hotels, including hotels on Nantucket. Almost all the time there was no worker or front desk agent, which is why I avoid Airbnbs, and they shouldn’t advertise themselves as an Inn hotel. Their website says there’s limited parking, but I was told that was incorrect and they actually had none. With nobody at the front desk, I called its number. The first person said I could park out front for free, but following that advice would have got me a ticket. We did find free street parking on Pearl street, perpendicular to the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay, including the courtyard garden sitting area and the nearby restaurants. The beds were comfortable, rooms roomy enough, and the bathrooms and facilities updated. Staff were very accommodating and gave great recommendations. Check-in and checkout by phone were easy, and it’s only a short walk to local bars and sights. I do wish the rooms were a bit more soundproof for privacy, but I embraced the quaint atmosphere and had a great time.

I was in P-town for a family wedding, and not everyone could get a room at the venue. I’m glad I couldn’t book there, since a friend referred me to The Waterford Inn. It’s charming and conveniently placed for getting everywhere!

I had to make a last-minute booking at The Waterford Inn for a family member’s celebration of life, and the staff made sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. MarcAnthony and David went out of their way from the moment I arrived. Their care made a difficult visit feel a little lighter. My Deluxe King Jr. Suite had a balcony overlooking the harbor, and the peaceful view was just what I needed. The recently renovated room was stunning, with thoughtful details that bring together the historic sea captain’s house charm and sleek modern design. The hospitality was outstanding throughout. I can’t recommend the inn enough for a restful stay, reflection, or getaway.
