Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

The later staff I met were friendly and made conversation about why I was visiting, which I appreciated. My arrival at about 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 5, felt quite different after a long flight with layovers. At the desk, there was no greeting or visual acknowledgment as I came up, and the receptionist barely made eye contact, focusing mostly on her screen while asking and answering questions. I got a similarly indifferent response from the woman checking out my items at 11:06 pm that night. Front desk service should feel consistently warm across shifts, especially for guests who have traveled a long way. I hope management can address that.

Breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed the room and the anniversary treat. We had a great stay and loved the location. The only downside was a truck beeping outside our window at 5:30 am. It may have been because we were on the east side of the south tower, but that wasn't Marriott's fault.

Being close to restaurants, shops, and the soccer tournament venues made the hotel's central location a real plus. We were in Provo, Utah, for the tournament, and the whole visit felt comfortable and welcoming. The meals at the hotel, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, were all nicely prepared. Staff were friendly, attentive, and professional whenever we needed them. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the property to people visiting the area.

The room was attractive, the view was lovely, and the hotel was clean. Still, I left frustrated at nearly every turn. The garage was awkwardly placed and almost empty, yet parking cost extra. The elevator was broken, and getting into the hotel meant nearly having to go outside. The pool and spa were closed, with no advance notice. When I urgently needed laundry, I learned there was no onsite service, only offsite facilities. It felt like everything I needed was unavailable, uncharged, or broken. They charged me for WiFi despite my Bonvoy membership, and the front desk agents seemed unsure what was happening and unwilling to help. For an expensive Marriott stay, that was shameful.
