The only problem was that the microwave didn't work. Otherwise, we had a great stay: the room was roomy, updated, clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast suited our busy schedule, and we'd come back if we're in the area.

Antoine at breakfast deserves a huge shout-out. I work in healthcare quality, so I notice details, and he clearly takes pride in his work. He greeted each guest, kept the food spread complete, and accommodated my gluten-free needs. He collected finished plates and cleaned tables as soon as people left. The area stayed tidy, and his friendly, hardworking manner really stood out. I think he'd be an asset to Marriott in training and customer service. Keep up the great work, Antoine, and God Bless! The rest of the stay was just as welcoming. As a Marriott Gold Elite member who's tried many locations, this was the best one for me. The checkout staff were very friendly, and my room was ready early, so I could get settled and prepare for a wedding a couple of hours later. It was clean and in great shape, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well.

Antoine was a bright spot at breakfast, cheerful and quick to keep the clean, well-stocked area in great shape. The food was hot and fresh, too. The hotel is handy to get to, with clean rooms that have been renovated and nicely fitted out. Parking was well lit, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Our suite felt comfortable and homey, with a small sitting area and a handy kitchenette. It had a fridge, mini cooktop, full-size microwave and even a mini dishwasher. The layout worked well, and we liked the view of the hills around Salt Lake City. The hotel seemed almost new and was very well kept, clean and thoughtfully laid out. Staff welcomed us warmly, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The breakfast team was especially helpful. Options for someone with an egg allergy were somewhat limited, as we've found at many hotels, but the overall selection was good. We had ample free parking, and the location was convenient and felt safe. It suited our one-night Thanksgiving holiday stay, with easy access to local places and good value. We'd gladly stay at this Residence Inn again.
