Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pueblo North by IHG

Helen is the part of this Holiday Inn Express I’ll remember most. She looks after breakfast, works hard to make it enjoyable for everyone, and treats each guest like they matter. You can tell she loves her job, and her hospitality stood out among all the hotels we’ve stayed at. The hotel itself was very nice too, with clean rooms, comfortable mattresses, and a really friendly staff.

Helen, the breakfast lady, was such a delight. She deserves a raise, so bring your tips! The workout room was a letdown. The water wasn’t working, there were no bottles offered, the remotes were missing, and the TV didn’t seem connected to Wi-Fi. It’s also pretty tiny, with only about four pieces of equipment. The pool is small, and the hot tub looks almost as big as it. Everything else was almost 100%.

I’ve stayed here three times in six months, and every single time the pool was closed. I even called two days before this visit to check that it was open. Afterward I asked for manager Angela to contact me, gave my name, and explained why I was upset. Four days later, still nothing, no response. Three strikes for me. I seriously doubt I’ll stay there again.

The breakfast room attendant was kind and efficient, and the staff overall were very accommodating. My wife was extremely happy with her stay. The hotel was very clean, and the room felt comfortable. A very good place to stay.
