Station on The Riverwalk

We stayed in Cell 1 and liked the patio outside, the comfortable bed, good AC, and nice towels. The rain shower is set in a tub, which was hard to climb in and out of. I understand it's going to be changed to a walk-in shower. Coffee is pour-over, and I'd bring my own grounds because the ones provided were just average. The only creamer option was sugar-free vanilla Coffee-mate, so they could offer a better selection. Judy was kind and helped us check in early, though there wasn't much staff presence in the lobby. It's an interesting idea, and a really nice spot on the Riverwalk.

Cell 2 was great, and I loved the jail-themed room. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. I even wrote down the mattress maker's name in case I can get one for home. The Clink bar at the hotel was excellent, too. On Friday night, some noise from the bar next door carried into the room, but it was more or less quiet after 10:30 p.m. The Riverwalk location was really good. It's a lovely place for an evening stroll, with families out walking, nightlife, and some nice restaurants and bars with outdoor seating. Staff were good when I could find them. I'd definitely recommend staying here for a romantic getaway or if you like a themed room.

We stayed in Cell 2, a great little room in this eclectic hotel. It's an actual historic jail, which is such a fun concept. The hotel is right by the Riverwalk, and EV chargers are easy to reach across the street.

The room was clean, and little touches like the fireplace were nice. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and I'd stay here again. It was a little pricey, though, and Cell 2's photo showed a bathtub. That was the main reason I picked the room, but it only had a shower, so I'm giving it four stars instead of five.
