For an overnight stop, it worked out great. The fridge was excellent, and we enjoyed the spacious room, the lobby, and the owner's sweet manner. Wi-Fi was good, though at $125 a night it felt a bit pricey. The microwave was broken, and the deadbolt wouldn't line up with the striker plate. I told the owner about the lock, but she said it only needed graphite spray. That didn't fix it, so check that your lock goes in properly. Thanks for the rosaries, I've given almost all of them away!

Great location and good prices, with friendly staff and a peaceful, very clean place to stay. There's even a fish cleaning service, which makes this especially handy for fishermen. I'll be back whenever I'm in town. No complaints at all.

Please be careful with the price they quote you. They told me $75 a night plus tax on the phone, and I booked four nights. When we went to pay, the man wanted $1,000, so we left and found a cabin for half that. My dad called two days later to ask the rate and, sure enough, they quoted him $75 a night again. I can't believe they do this and get away with it. Record your calls, or stay somewhere else. There are lots of better places. Maybe their family writes the reviews here.

A cozy little hotel, and a real gem. The owner and her son are incredibly nice, and the rooms are clean and snug. We're already looking forward to staying in those cozy rooms again, almost as much as we're looking forward to the lake.
