The keys are left under the mat, which hardly seems secure since anyone could take one. The front desk woman also hovered near our room and came by without warning, perhaps even entering, which made me uncomfortable. We'd booked and paid for several days, yet she threatened to make us leave over a policy we hadn't broken, and didn't provide the services we'd paid for. I'm not sure whether she was unwell, and I can understand if so, but the whole thing was ridiculous. The place wasn't filthy, though there were black hairs all over the bed covers, so even that is hard to call a plus. I'd avoid it.

The location is great, and that’s about the only good thing I can say. This place has been the worst in town for decades. Maybe it works if you just need to stay warm during Apple Cup, but otherwise, don't.

The people are kind and keep a close eye on the property, which made me feel safe. I stayed for a while and got a decent room at a very fair rate. The rooms are neither great nor bad, but they have the basics and are clean and safe. A good choice if all you need is a place to stay.

The price is the best in town, and the room was okay. But I had a do not disturb sign on the door, went out for the day, and left the AC set to 74. They entered the room and turned it off. That's not okay. Also, the front desk person had such a heavy accent that it was hard to understand. Keep an eye on that front desk person.
