I drive a school bus and stayed Wednesday through Sunday morning for a WSU trip. My invoice listed 2 guests, even though it was just me; the kids and teachers were staying in the university dorms. The bus parking was free, but there wasn't actually a place for the bus, so I left it behind a nearby restaurant and hoped nothing happened to it. The room was okay, with a king bed that was a little lumpy but not bad. Breakfast apparently only runs Saturday and Sunday. There are two coffee cups, but no coffee, tea, or cocoa in the room, just a microwave and small fridge. The invoice says the school district paid $931.95, including $83.95 in occupancy tax. The website price seemed to be around $139 a night, and I thought the Garden Inn rates looked way off. For that amount, I could've stayed at the Hilton 😆

Great value, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The person checking us in was really friendly and had a great attitude. Only thing I missed was having a coffee maker in the room. I'm impressed.

Do not trust this place. We booked one room for one night for a university weekend with our child. Because I was stuck across the country during airport and flight delays related to the government shutdown, only my husband and son could make the trip. I changed the reservation name to my husband's to avoid confusion. Expedia had legitimately changed it, and both my husband and Expedia showed proof that it was still the same one-room booking. The older woman in the back charged me for two rooms anyway. She seemed to laugh about it. It felt like total robbery, and they shouldn't be dealing with customers.

We only found out about the continental breakfast when we were checking out, so I wish someone had mentioned it at check-in. The place was affordable and close enough to Moscow to make our stay comfortable. It's not especially fancy, and there aren't many amenities.

We were left outside for half an hour after I booked a room online for $180, and the receptionist eventually came out of the bushes barefoot. He stayed shoeless in the lobby and seemed out of it while the woman argued with us that we didn't have a real booking. I'd called ahead to confirm this was the Pullman garden in and that we could book for that night, then showed up about 20 minutes later as planned. The person who answered sounded drugged out and kept asking about a place with a different name, though they eventually confirmed Pullman garden inn. Nobody was at the desk, so I called the number on the front door. The woman said she'd wake the front desk man, but after we waited and knocked for about 10 minutes, nobody appeared. On my second call she said she'd come in 10 minutes, and she did. I told her we'd been locked out with no help, but she kept bringing up that she was a hard-working 70-year-old woman in Pullman. I appreciated her coming, but that didn't change what happened. This is a joke of a business, and I wouldn't stay here even if I had nowhere else to go.
