Executive Inn of Purcell

The location is handy, with Walmart right across the street, but the place itself is clean and pretty basic. There’s no breakfast or other amenities, and the beds are just okay. The mattress sits on a metal base that pops really loudly whenever you sit down, shift, or roll over. Someone arrived next door at 4am making a huge racket, like a hurricane coming through. I wish they’d been put in a room farther from other guests. Fine for a night, but not if you’re a light sleeper.

We found a small spider under the sheets, then another while I was eating at the table. In the morning there were tons of bugs in the sink and bathroom. The room had looked clean when we came in, but the bugs were awful. I don’t recommend staying here.

There’s a small fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. The ice machine had been hit by a car and was broken, so we couldn’t get ice. We had towels and a little bar of soap, with no shampoo, conditioner, or iron, so supplies were very limited. The area outside felt kind of trashy, though Walmart, restaurants, gas stations, and a Starbucks are nearby. I went to Starbucks to get coffee for us. The owners cleaned the rooms themselves and were very friendly, but we won’t stay again. The room was clean, but the beds were awful, very hard, and the end dipped with a springy pop when I sat on it.

A quiet little hotel just off the interstate. The rooms were clean, the A/C worked, and the location was good. Definitely worth the price.
