Harbour Square Suites

The patio just outside the rooms was really nice, and the staff were top notch. The suites were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren also had a nice spot to sit and play on the hardwood floors. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband was hoping to fish in Lake Erie, so I planned a trip for the first weekend of October 2024. On the way to the ferry, Ms. Rachel texted to ask us to message her once we reached the island so she could make sure we had what we needed. She was waiting when we got to the suites, took us through the basics, and showed us to our clean, newly remodeled room. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, and she explained the TV and lock system, shared the internet password, and gave us a list of fishing spots. She offered a golf cart, which we initially turned down. After driving around and seeing how clean and beautiful the island was, we decided we should have taken her up on it. The water was great for fishing, and my husband caught three good-sized catfish over the weekend. Since it was the end of the season, some things were a little more lax, but Rachel was easy to work with. We said we’d most likely reserve for 2025 and come earlier so fewer places would be closed. We had a wonderful experience. The newly remodeled shower was a highlight: huge, square, very clean, and stocked with enough supplies. A big thank you to Ms. Rachel. We look forward to seeing you again!

We booked two rooms at Harbor Square for a bachelorette party this past weekend, and when they learned that, they upgraded us to a larger suite at no extra charge. The room was very clean, and the owner and her son were amazing and professional. It’s a great family-run business. Everyone in our group plans to book here again, and I can’t wait to return to the Island and stay with them.
