Yana, my main contact at Nova, was rude, confused, and very unprofessional. She made the whole experience terrible, and I've heard that from others too. She should be fired.

The construction around the hotel was the main downside. Parking took some figuring out, but it was free and easy enough once I got the hang of it. The kitchenette was very nice, and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was basic, but clean and functional. It was the best price we saw for the amenities.

We booked two nights but left after one, and even during that first night we nearly walked out at 2am. The front desk was helpful in working with Expedia to get our money back for night two, but we'll never stay here again or recommend it. The clean rooms were tiny and incredibly loud. Restaurants and bars downstairs let out around 1am, and we heard yelling, fighting, and police activity. We could even clearly hear the couple next door having sex. The bathroom was so cramped you could pee, wash your hands at the sink, and wash your feet in the shower all at once. Everything seemed to be from Ikea, mattress and sheets included. The sheets felt rougher than newspaper. Usually I'd say you get what you pay for, but this room cost over $100 a night.

The room itself was clean and nice, but we could barely sleep. The neighborhood was wild, with loud parties going late into the night. Parking was impossible in the evening, and the lot didn't feel secure or safe. Construction began at 8am Saturday, and the drilling and pounding were so bad we couldn't wait to leave.

We were here over Boston Comic Con weekend, and I can't recommend the place. The mattress was so hard it felt like a board, and we woke up feeling like old people. Random people knocked on our door in the middle of the night. The guy handling their message service came across as rude and wasn't helpful. Nova Suites seems to be aiming for a trendy hotel, but it felt like a run-down motel with bright carpeting and a Keurig. You really don't get what you pay for.
