Stoney Creek Inn Quincy

Our room was spacious and very clean, with great beds and a view of the outdoor seating area. But a group of guests stayed noisy outside well past bedtime. In the two days we were there, I saw just one employee. She was cheerful and helpful, but seemed to be doing every job herself. The building is quite worn, and the hall and elevator looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed properly in a while.

Zenaida helped us throughout the trip, answered all our questions, and gave us good guidance. We were in Quincy for our cousin’s wedding and celebrated at Stoney Creek, at the bar, by the pool, in our room, and over breakfast. The whole visit was a lot of fun. Thanks, Stoney Creek!

The second-floor halls were really loud, with what sounded like 25 or more young kids partying at 10:33. When does quiet time start? We won’t be coming back to Stoney Creek. The freezer in our room badly needed defrosting. The ice had built up so much the door wouldn’t close, and melting water ran onto the floor and soaked the carpet. We’d already found the hot tub broken on our last visit in November, with weakly warm water and jets that didn’t work. A new GM said a part was on order and promised to turn the place around. We returned on February 21, and the tub was ice cold again, with the jets still out. This is a completely terrible property to stay at.

I’ve been staying here for over a month while working out of town, and I can’t think of anything to complain about. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and great to deal with. Nicole in particular has been amazing. She’s always smiling, and she goes out of her way to help with whatever we need. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
