The rooms were filthy, nasty, and disgusting. I had to call the sheriff to report what appeared to be multiple drug use going on. The front desk wouldn't even come back to refund my money. They photographed my driver's license on a personal cell phone, and I suspect they may have stolen my ID.

Bedbugs, roaches, spiders, and little hairs in the bed. The guy at the front desk didn't speak English, and charged my card again even though I'd already booked through Hopper. Total scam, they charge you twice. The worst hotel experience ever. I emailed guest support using the message below, but never heard back.

We didn't stay the night. As soon as we checked the bed, we found a bug between the sheets under the bedspread near the foot. Pulling the sheet back farther revealed a yellow stain that looked like someone had wet the bed and just pulled the covers up, without washing or changing the sheets. The toilet had a dark stain, the freezer was packed with frost, and a previous guest's loofah was still in the shower. At check-in, someone took a picture of my sister's phone showing our reservation. The person checking us in didn't seem to speak English or Spanish. We moved across the street to the Castle Rock Inn and Suites and had a wonderful five-star experience. We'll report what happened to the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Sad, sad, sad. If zero stars were an option, I'd choose it.

I asked the receptionist three times to move me because my room had a leak, but he didn't understand what I was asking. He reeked of smoke, and most of the TVs don't work, only about 3%, so a relaxing evening can end with you throwing the remote across the room. The receptionist charges too much and, according to me, takes some of the money for himself. To find the real room price, you have to speak with the owner, but literally nobody can speak English. Do not lodge here.
