Clarion Pointe Raleigh Midtown

We got our security deposit back after the room was checked at checkout. I understand why the hotel requires one, even if I guess everyone has to pay because of some bad customers. The rooms were decent, and the staff were polite and courteous. It seems new management is taking over and changing things. For the price, the hotel is good, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

Naveen was there throughout our stay and was always ready to help, whatever time we needed something. He was great and always had a smile. The rooms were very clean and better than I expected for the price, and I was impressed when we first walked in. You never know what to expect on Capital Blvd, but the staff do a good job keeping trouble out. My family and I will definitely return. It felt kid friendly, with no drinking, drugs, or fighting, which is about all you can ask for on a weekend getaway. They’ve done a very nice job turning the place around.

The room had the basics I needed for a short visit, and the area felt safe. Check-in was quick, parking was plentiful, and the location was convenient. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some shared spaces could use small updates, but it didn’t affect my stay. A solid, affordable place for the price.

I was glad the front desk man processed a refund without hesitation. The hotel looked shockingly different in person from the website photos, and if I’d known about its actual condition and atmosphere, I wouldn’t have tried to stay there. The room price seemed to fit the photos, but after seeing the place, they shouldn’t charge more than $50 a night. It doesn’t seem family friendly, and feels like somewhere only men should stay.
