Super 8 by Wyndham Raleigh North East

I always enjoy staying here, it feels like a little home away from home where I can have some me time. My first room had several roaches crawling around, but I texted the front desk and they dealt with it quickly. The next room was a big improvement. The elevator was out again, and I work 12 to 14 hour days. I'm hoping it'll be working by December 31, 2025, when I plan to check in for a couple of days. Please put me on the first floor.

I paid $75 a night after taxes, and my expectations at that price aren't the same as for a $200 hotel. This is the best place in Raleigh in its price range, period. I've stayed in them all. The room, number 312, was very clean, with a new bedroom set, unstained linens, and very hot water. I felt safe, and there was no drug activity. The stairwell I used was open air, with no roaches or mildew. Wyndham has really cleaned the place up. My only complaint is the elevator has been broken for a long time.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the front desk clerk was very apologetic and tried to help. She even moved her car so we could park in front of the hotel. But I called ahead about our midnight arrival and nobody mentioned the elevator was out of order. My husband is disabled, and we had to use the stairs to reach the third floor.

The bed was high and really comfortable, but the fridge didn't work and the elevator was out, even though our room was on the third floor. We were in room 312 by the stairway, and heard everyone coming and going and slamming the door. If I come back, I'll make sure we aren't near the stairs, especially if the elevators are still broken.
