The artwork here is gorgeous, and do ask Polina and John about the symbolism when you visit. It adds another layer to the art and gives you a better sense of them, too. They know so much about this historical home, and we would have loved to hear more, but we were short on time and tired from traveling. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the immaculate restoration, the period-correct furniture and memorabilia, and the beautiful antebellum house. Polina and John were welcoming, polite, hospitable, intelligent, and completely service-minded. You can feel the knowledge, care, precision, and passion they've put into the place. I can't imagine a more beautiful or peaceful spot to visit.

The room was gorgeous and warm, and the artwork throughout the bed and breakfast was wonderful. We learned a lot on the tour, too. This was the first stop on our mini vacation since my husband and son love history. The owners greeted us when we came in and made us feel like friends right away. Our family really enjoyed the experience, and we'll recommend it to friends and family. Tyler's mom

We stayed in the Jenny Lind Room, and that oversized tub was hard to leave. The four-poster bed was gorgeous, and the linens, thick towels, and soft robes made everything feel extra comfortable. This 1840s mansion balances old-fashioned elegance with modern comfort, and the hosts clearly put a lot of love and care into looking after it and their guests. The period decor, original art, and historical pieces make it feel like stepping into another time. We arrived to genuine Southern warmth, then left rested and grateful for a peaceful, inspiring getaway. We're already looking forward to coming back.

The owners are friendly and proud to talk about the artwork and old objects around the place. The rooms and decor are stunning, and their idea of letting guests sleep in a museum really fits. Such a unique experience, well worth it. Six stars out of five!

We were driving from Iowa to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and wanted an authentic plantation stay along the way. A little over an hour east of Memphis, this turned out to be the perfect stop, just what we'd hoped for. The owners are incredibly kind and caring, and the plantation has been restored beautifully. The rooms are amazing, with so much history and art to take in, plus gorgeous woods all around. Easily the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at. Definitely recommend!
