Ramsey Inn & Suites

Our room looked nothing like the pictures on Tripadvisor. It felt like something straight out of a horror movie. The place was gross and underwhelming overall.

The microwave was dirty inside, the bathroom door had all kinds of debris on it, and the lamps were filthy. The plastic gray couch was cheap and broken. There’s a cheap lock on the door, and the bolt is broken, too. I’ll never come back. The room next door was playing loud music, and there were some very sketchy people around. I think they make their money from day rates. Any place that offers day rates, stay away from. If you don’t care about safety or hygiene, you’ll be a welcome guest.

There were roaches and spiders, and some very weird guests. After checking in, the bathroom smelled awful. I asked the young girl for a different room, but she had an attitude and said, “we already used the room,” so she couldn’t give me one. I got another room after talking to someone else, only to find a bowl under the sink collecting water that was flooding the whole bathroom. There were no washcloths, and duct tape was holding up the towel rack. There was still stuff from a previous guest in the fridge. The TV offers Por* for free, and the bedroom window looks into the shower, which is creepy. Don’t stay here.

The price was decent, and you get a simple room for what you pay. But I asked for non-smoking and got a room that strongly smelled of cigarettes. When I asked the front desk to move me, they offered an air freshener.
