I chose this place because it's locally managed, and the short drive to the Plaza was handy. The king room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and felt more like a room in a home than a motel. I did really miss having a microwave and would add one. The office closes at 9 pm, so when I realized I'd arrive later, I called. The woman was super friendly and checked me in by phone. They use electronic door locks, and I had my code within a few minutes. Everything went smoothly!

After I accidentally booked the wrong night, they took care of me without any fuss. I appreciated the coffee and the great communication from both the front desk and housekeeping. The room was very comfortable and a good size for the price. Everything was very clean, and the staff were lovely. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Taos.

The price was a pleasant surprise, since the room was only around $100 for the night. We hadn't had a hotel stay this pleasant in years. The room and beds were clean and comfortable, and it all looked like it had probably been renovated recently. Highly recommend.

The room was excellent, with a recently updated bathroom and shower that had hot water and strong pressure. This place on the south side of Taos has been recently renovated, and with the new owners, I expect it will keep improving. Plan to check it out on your next Taos trip.

The rooms are super cute, with a nice mix of retro style and modern renovation, which made the rest of my stay especially disappointing. A roach crawled into my bed, and I saw another on the wall. I had booked two nights, but my event ended earlier than expected and I no longer felt comfortable, so I asked to check out a night early. They said no because it was outside their “7 day cancellation policy.” They moved me to the room next door, but didn't offer a discount. I didn't book expecting roaches, and I'm disappointed that this was treated as covered by the cancellation policy.
