Golden Lion Motel

Our room was huge, with three beds, a dining table and chairs, plus a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and TV. There’s plenty of room for a big group, though you’ll be sharing space without much privacy. We’d stay again. We had to wait while they finished cleaning our upgraded room, and they really did clean it thoroughly, even wiping out the fridge. The floors still seemed dirty after mopping, though. A towel on the floor to step onto after a shower picked up visible dirt, so maybe they needed another pass.

I’m enjoying myself here. Big bed, lots of wood and light, plus coffee, hot chocolate, a TV and fridge. There’s a lot of activity around, and people can be noisy.

It’s an older hotel, but they keep it in great shape and really clean. The owners are super friendly, and it’s a great place to stay while visiting Raymond and the PNW.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with clean floors, a clean bathroom, a good bed and a powerful AC unit. The WiFi was decent too. The main hassle was where the outlets were placed, but I managed. The owners were wonderful. I called at 8:30 pm after finding out the nearby place I’d booked had no AC during 100-degree heat, and they went out of their way to fit me in. When I arrived, Mom hustled to get the room ready. I’m really grateful. They were even caring for an injured rooster in their office, just out of kindness. 24/7 service, and I was happy to have a cool place to sleep.
