I paid $82 for a dirty room, and the front desk guy wasn't helpful. There was mold in the tub and on the cracked bathroom floor tile, and the place smelled really bad. Breakfast was barely anything, just a very small muffin. I feel like I got a bad deal. I wouldn't go back even if it cost $50.

There was smeared dog poop under the bed from a previous guest, and I had to clean it up myself. The refrigerator didn't work, the main light was out, and the TV remote didn't work either. The bathroom had no fan, broken and shattered tiles, and a filthy shower head. There was no AC cover, either. This room is completely wrecked and feels like a health hazard. Breakfast was a honey bun and coffee. The wall says the last health department check was in 2024. This place should be shut down.

There are lots of fast food places nearby and a Dollar General right across the street. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. A good spot for the night!

The front desk staff were kind, helpful and accommodating, and the hotel seemed generally clean. The room was presentable and nice enough. We were in the area because a family member was leaving for military service from nearby Crowley, and this hotel looked relatively better than the others despite the reviews. The people next door were loud and disrespectful. We asked them to quiet down, but they wouldn't, and then we went to the front desk. They tried to tell the night manager it was someone else, but he did his best. It finally got quiet by midnight. The hotel was full, so he couldn't move us. Breakfast turned out to be packaged muffins, coffee, juice and yogurt, which was incredibly disappointing for a room with a king bed that cost over $180 for one night. We went elsewhere to eat. I travel for work a lot and have paid at least $30 to $50 less for three-star hotels in major cities that include full breakfast. For what you get, this is highly overpriced, and we'll look elsewhere next time we're back. The staff were so nice that it was hard to write this, but it's an honest review.

I was here for around three weeks, and the staff were very accommodating. Since I was staying week to week, the manager made a point of getting to know me personally and really went out of his way. The breakfast and pool are the weak spots, but I'd still highly recommend it if you get stuck between Lafayette and Lake Charles.
