The room was old and run down, and the price was $90 even though our neighbor said it was $70 a night. Both parking lots were empty when we arrived, and the place seemed abandoned. Early one morning, the manager's wife came into our room without warning. It frightened my girlfriend so badly she ran outside screaming, and she was banned for life. Later, I accidentally left my car windows open overnight and someone stole two Android work phones with three new contracts on them. I found one phone at the motel down the street, which has no locks on its doors. When I complained to the manager, he showed our neighbor a video of my girlfriend running around the motel, but never showed it to me. I was banned for life too. It's strange to see a motel with two empty parking lots. Maybe none of the guests have cars?

The staff were friendly, and my room was really clean. I'd recommend this hotel if you're passing through.

The place was easy to reach and had a pool and the basic amenities, but it needs renovation. Expedia moved us here after Motel 6 was overbooked over the Fourth of July weekend. This was a downgrade that cost more than the other option. We arrived at 11 p.m. on a 100-degree day to find the room at 90 degrees, and it took a couple of hours to cool down. It was clean, though dated and crusty. The $25 cash deposit and required room inspection before leaving in the morning felt really strange. Those things made the stay a bummer, and I wouldn't have picked this place based on the other reviews, but we had no choice. No other complaints.

The sheets looked like they had been fluffed up and the bed remade after the last guests. When I checked under the blanket, I was appalled by what looked like blood and other stains I don't want to speculate about. After I went out for food, I came back to find my things seemed to have been disturbed, as if someone had gone through them. The staff were rude and unprofessional from the start, and the rooms felt like prison cells with 25-year-old TVs. I felt too uneasy to sleep there. This place needs to be shut down or have different management. Save your time and stay at America’s Best Value Inn, which is cheaper, cleaner, and has nicer staff. I have nothing pleasant to say about this dump. Don't get me started on the bed bugs.

I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. The staff were rude, and the room was mediocre, with carpet stains, sloppy drywall patches, and single-pane windows that let me hear every knock on the neighboring unit. The so-called complimentary breakfast was just a cinnamon pastry and coffee. By 7:30 a.m., there was barely enough creamer and sugar for two cups, and I only got a cinnamon roll after commenting on the lack of breakfast. I chose the Red Bluff, CA location because I had a coupon for a $38.99 room. I arrived at 8:30 p.m. and was told the coupon was first come, first served, even though there was one vehicle in the lot. The price became $45 plus tax, then they required a $25 cash-only deposit with no receipt. They said the room would be inspected and my money returned.
