Duck Lake Campground

The owners were nice, and the cabin was a great place to stay. It was quiet even with lots of people there with dogs, we never heard barking. You can rent kayaks near the water, and the night sky was beautiful. I even saw my first shooting star. I’d definitely go again.

We got to look at different sites and choose the one with the best view behind our campervan, #18. The family who owns the property were so kind and friendly. They answered when we called and returned our messages, which was unusual compared with other nearby campgrounds we contacted about booking. The place was quiet and private, with a great view and location. The porta potties were really clean, and there were several along the sites, so wherever you camped, you didn't have far to walk. I’d recommend supporting this family business.

The lake was beautiful, and everyone was friendly. There are only 3 camping spots for campers, though, and there isn't anywhere to put your garbage. In the restroom, there was nothing to dry your hands with, and the toilet paper was left on the back of the toilet instead of in a holder, so you have to pick it up, which felt unsanitary. If you're going with kids, there's nothing there for them to do.

The people were amazingly helpful. We arrived late, at 9pm, and they were friendly and accommodating. There’s a great view of the lake and dock, and it’s close to Glacier National Park. I’ll definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area.
