The Pollard Hotel

I really like that this is a locally owned historic hotel, with great service and modern rooms that still fit the historic feel. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. My room was a little small, but it didn’t feel cramped. There wasn’t a closet or ironing board in my room, so ask if you need those. Supporting local businesses really does matter. For me, this is the best place to stay in Red Lodge.

The restaurant was great, and every staff member we met was incredibly friendly. Our room at the Pollard had been beautifully updated and was well appointed with everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay and I’ll stay again whenever I’m in town.

After a tiring, hungry drive, we got a warm welcome and helpful restaurant recommendations from the front desk, who was as caring as a mom. We felt at home and looked after the whole time. The room was spotless and comfortable, just right for a restful night. They made our stop easy and relaxing, and we had a wonderful stay.

Marli's is worth a meal, especially if you like baked goods. They make the breads and pastries on site, including donuts, and the bacon maple ones are a must try. The lower level also has a fitness room that could rival most private clubs, plus two racquetball courts. The Pollard Hotel is a charming place, beautifully restored with the feel of a cozy bed and breakfast and all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. I can’t say enough good things about it. We’re already planning another Red Lodge trip just to stay here again.
