Comfort Inn Red Oak

Natasha made my stay at Comfort Inn & Suites feel special. She was thoughtful, quick to help with requests, shared local suggestions, and made sure my room was comfortable. The welcome from the staff was warm from the start, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. My room was spacious, and the cozy bedding made it easy to sleep well after a long day. Five stars from me, and I’d happily recommend it for the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere.

We’ll come back when we’re in the Dallas area to visit family. R L Jones and Kathy welcomed us right away, and Mr Jones even checked that housekeeping had our room ready and came up to get the TV working after the previous guest apparently took one of the cords. The service was great, and our clean room had everything we needed.

The staff were the highlight, friendly and helpful without hovering. R.L. at the desk and Debbie from the shuttle both gave top notch service, and housekeeping deserves credit for keeping everything clean and presentable. My room was clean and had the basics, including a mini fridge, microwave, coffee and tea maker, and mini safe. The outlets in the nightstand lamp seemed not to work, so I charged my phone from the wall, a small issue but worth mentioning for anyone who needs more outlets. It was quiet on my midweek stay, just what I wanted after my semi broke down on a Wednesday night. MHC Kenworth customers get a discount. Restaurants and even a Walmart are within walking distance. I’d stay here again, breakdown or not.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Walmart and Starbucks are less than 10 minutes away. Breakfast was hot, tasty, well prepared, and served in a clean dining area. RL Jones was especially helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and was available to help with needs or concerns.
