The other staff members were nice and professional, but I won’t be coming back. I’m a traveling medical professional, and my fiancé and I booked a room because we were both scheduled to be in Redding. The manager made me feel like I wasn’t a paying guest. When I came in for breakfast, she treated me like a transient. I later learned she had told other staff to watch my dog for being a nuisance. No one had complained about my dog, and my dog is never left alone or barking. A manager should set an example, and I didn’t feel she showed hospitality to guests.

After a frustrating booking issue with Expedia, which I won’t use again, the hotel sorted it out even though Expedia had said it couldn’t be done. The staff took good care of me. This is my favorite hotel in Redding: it’s lovely and easy to get to, and the customer care is unmatched. I’ll book directly with the staff next time.

I stopped for one night during a road trip. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the towels were fresh and fluffy. Breakfast was well stocked, and I especially liked the oatmeal bar and OJ.

The window leaked all night, and the desk attendant said he hadn’t heard about it before. Still, there was plenty of water damage in the room, and the ceiling by the second-floor elevator showed damage too. Who’s going to say, “Yes, we knew the window leaked, but put you in there anyway”? $$$ Also, they charge $2 for the little bottle of water most hotels give away.

The breakfast was VERY good, and there’s an indoor pool and a decent gym. My room was quiet, with good sound buffering between rooms, and the bed was quite comfortable. The sheets were amazing. Everything was VERY clean and nicely updated, and all the staff were super nice. No problems or complaints, I was delighted.
