Aloft by Marriott Nashville Franklin

We had a comfortable, pleasant stay in a spacious room with an open layout and plenty of room to move around. The counter space by the sink was handy while getting ready. The beds were quite firm, which some people may like. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly, and the room could’ve used a more thorough cleaning. Better housekeeping and a few small repairs would make this a strong choice.

The comforter was visibly dirty and crusted, and there was no housekeeping available, no room change offered, and no staff willing to fix it. They told me to remake the dirty bed myself. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the room I’d paid for, and my follow-up messages after the stay have gone unanswered. This was a complete failure of basic hospitality and far below what I expect from Marriott.

I had to stay at the Brentwood location with my dog during an ice storm. Jennifer Brown and Jonathan were amazing. They slept at the hotel so they could look after all the guests whose homes had no power. They were kind and provided excellent customer service. I’d highly recommend this hotel, and want to thank them both for how they treated us.

The only real downside is that breakfast costs extra. Otherwise, this is a great hotel, with a pool, pool table, and easy access to the mall and events around Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville. It’s trendy too, with live music on weekends.
