Americana Modern Hotel

Six of us shared a Triple family room with three beds, and the value and service were among the best we've had after staying at hotels around the country. Alva checked us in at 2 AM and was helpful and friendly, and the manager was lovely when we spoke in the morning. Before we headed out, they had fresh coffee, a snack, and ice-cold water for us. It's pet friendly, with photos of VIP pets who've stayed there and a jar of biscuits for the dogs. A 10 out of 10 stay, and I don't hand out that rating lightly.

The neighborhood is a little more downtown than some hotel areas, so the location isn't the nicest, though it's still close to things. Inside, the courtyard is cutely decorated, and there's a small, nicely decorated pup area out back. The rooms compare well with Marriott, Fairfield, and similar places, with gorgeous modern bathrooms and huge king beds that come with four pillows. We loved it and will come back when we're passing through Redding. Such a good value.

There was complimentary water, coffee, tea, and granola bars for guests, which I appreciated. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom worked well for us. It was a pleasure staying here, and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a place while traveling.

Traveling with kids, having three beds and a room that was almost like a separate room was really convenient. The room was very clean, we slept well, and there were two TVs. The person working asked if we wanted dinner recommendations when we arrived, which was thoughtful and helpful. We appreciated that it's pet friendly, and that the parking lot is closed off at night except for the front entrance. We're Airbnb hosts with three properties and were impressed enough to pick up a couple of ideas. The pet area was small, so there wasn't much room to walk around, but we were still glad it was there.
