Best Western Plus Hilltop Inn

The EV chargers worked great and were very affordable. You can find them on Plugshare. There's also a really, really good restaurant onsite, which I hadn't seen at a Best Western before. The outside looks a bit sketchy, but the recently renovated rooms are modern and very comfortable. My pet-friendly room was clean, and there's a grassy dog area in back.

The fitted sheets kept slipping because they didn't fit the mattress, and the AC unit never shut off, so it was a bit noisy. The grassy spot for dogs is all the way behind the hotel. Even so, we'd stay here again on our travels. Our pet-friendly room was nicely remodeled for an older hotel, very clean with no animal smell, and had a comfortable bed.

The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazingly delicious, and the staff there were great. After a long drive, the heated pool and spa were just what our kids and family needed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable that we almost slept past the 9:30 continental breakfast, which is not like us. We'd stay again anytime!

The breakfast buffet at CR Gibbs Grille was very satisfying, with freshly prepared eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, French toast, and biscuits. Check-in and checkout were friendly and efficient, and they recognized my Best Western Rewards Gold status with two bottles of water. I was in an upstairs room at the back, closest to the freeway. The downstairs rooms were being refurbished, and I could hear the freeway, but I still slept well. The shower's body wash and shampoo dispensers seemed low, so I asked for refills. I had a pleasant four-day getaway to Redding and Burney Falls and would consider staying again. Hopefully next time I'll get a refurbished room farther from the freeway.
